Machine Tool Coolant Coalescers & Recycling Systems
During the machining process, contaminants and bacteria can foul the coolant causing it to "break down". Recycling coolant will decrease coolant disposal and replacement costs while extending coolant life and improving the wash quality.
The TS- Series tramp oil separator/coalescers are designed to remove tramp oil and coarse solids from machine tool coolant, wash water, or process water when the mixture is not chemically emulsified.
The coalescer works by first separating the oil droplets from the wash water or coolant. These small droplets are then attracted to the coalescing media where they accumulate and combine with other droplets until they are big enough to flow to the surface where they can be removed.

For recycling larger batch volumes up to 600 gallons, the RTS Series Coolant Recycling systems will remove tramp oils and solids and return the clean coolant into a clean reservoir. After the clean reservoir fills, any oil which separates along with excess coolant overflows back into the dirty reservoir to be reprocessed. This flow cycle may be run as long as desired to achieve the required level of coolant cleanliness.
